Greetings! We are excited for the 2015 season! In the coming weeks, we will be updating the website with registration forms, dates, etc., so please be sure to check back soon!
Just a couple of things to note about the 2015 season:
1. One of the most important items is that, due to the resurfacing project of the Valley View courts this summer, the Advanced Doubles league and the Beginner (Recreational) Doubles league will play at the Dred Scott tennis courts this year. The Intermediate Doubles league will still play at the Jefferson High School tennis courts.
2. You asked for it, you got it! Per player requests, we have decided to rename the Beginner Doubles League to more accurately reflect the nature of this particular league. Starting this year, it will be called the Recreational Doubles league.
3. There will be NO PRICE INCREASE for any of our leagues this year! 2015 League fees will be the same as the 2014 league fees.
4. We have several open spots on our Board this year. In order for this league to continue, we need your help! Our league is run by an all-volunteer Board, and the time commitment for the open spots is minimal. You'd not only be helping us keep the league running for years to come, but your input on how to help improve and grow the league would be most welcome! Please contact any Board member, or send an email to BloomingtonWomensTennisLeague@hotmail.com for more information.
5. The Spring Mixer is Saturday, May 16th at Dred Scott (moved from Valley View this year because of the resurfacing project at Valley View).
Have a great Spring, and we'll see you on the courts soon!
